The challenge: Two programs lead to inefficiency and expense.
Our global energy client had two existing programs one managed by TestMSP and one they managed themselves. They sought to consolidate the programs to drive efficiency, cost savings, and consistency in best practices. Additionally, they felt one central program would increase acceptance across regions, improve training, and reduce turnover.
The solution: TestMSP charged with leading new, single MSP.
TestMSP was awarded the combined program responsibility quickly increasing our previous program reach from 11 to 51 countries. As soon as the contract was signed, we began transitioning self-managed programs to a singular, TestMSP-led program in three geographic-based phases. During this global implementation streamlined best practices were identified and spread across regions.
The value: A successful rollout experienced NO major issues.
We are now live in 53 countries with more than $800M in spend under management and continuing to expand. The program includes 165 suppliers globally.
- The buyer- funded, single-invoice model not only enabled a fast rollout but resulted in significant cost savings.
- Documentation efficiencies reduced global transition time, while a refreshed training plan resulted in less turnover and better equipped staff.
- Stakeholders many previously reluctant were very impressed with the results!
